Soft serve ice cream has been in our family since 1976. Dad loved the freedom of working from his ice cream van and cherished the relationships he built over time with his loyal customers. He simply adored hearing kids yell, “Mister Whippy is here!” – back then the common cry for any soft serve ice cream van all around Australia.
Today, as Classic Soft Serve, we continue the tradition of providing quality ice cream treats from our professionally operated van all over Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, and Canberra.
We love putting a smile into every treat we serve. As a family owned and operated business, we put our heart and soul into serving happiness – just the way Dad taught us.
Our soft serve ice cream with its signature swirl is produced by the finest of ice cream machines, made by the Italian company Carpigiani, who have been making commercial soft serve ice cream machines since 1946.
From our modern Mercedes van and using only the freshest, tastiest ingredients, we serve ice cream dreams, slushies, hot fudge sundaes and much more.
We care about the future
Running a family business also means looking to the future for our kids. We strive to run an environmentally responsible and sustainable business. We have managed to consistently reduce our waste and won’t leave anything behind – except smiles!
